About Keith
Keith Lykins is a Flamenco, Classical, Acoustic Percussive Guitarist as well as a consummate entertainer. His music encompasses aspects of traditional Classical music, Spanish, Arabic and Americana influences. From cover songs to Flamenco, Classical, Blues, Irish Fiddle Tunes and Percussive Acoustic Guitar, his music shines its way through unexpected gulfs and valleys of emotion.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance as well as advanced studies in composition, orchestration and ethnomusicology have provided the foundation which allows him to further his journey dedicated to the exploration of international music and to become a trail blazer in the world of guitar. Keith has been an educator in the elementary level, at the college level and privately for more than 30 years. He teaches all styles of guitar as well as fretted instruments at McCutcheon Music in Centerville, Ohio, That Music Place in Springboro, Ohio, Sharp School of Music in West Chestar, Ohio and at his Home Studio.
