Keith Lykin’s music could best be compared to Michael Hedges, Tommy Emmanuel and Andy McKee. He is a fingerstyle guitarist an instrumentalist, a singer-songwriter, a one man band, and a consummate entertainer. Noted as “a tour de force in the acoustic music arena.” by Jason Dudas, Executive Director of TBNK, his music encompasses Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar with Middle Eastern, Spanish and Americana influences. Alan Fark of Minor 7th noted “Lykins fires repeated rounds of emotion from his guitar with percussive two-handed techniques which percolates and pops in Lykins' capable hands.” Keith plays and sings a wide but cohesive mixture of cover and original music. Terrilynn Meece, Program Coordinator, Troy Hayner Cultural Center said “His lyrics have an urban-bluesy sound. A new sound in percussive folk.” Keith regularly plays in the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky area at such venues as Clifton Opera House, Yellow Springs Street Festival and The House of Blues, Cleveland.
